Put together some of the shots I took this year on Queen St East with my Holga. Lots more to do there. The area is changing very fast.

Partying at TIFF08

Covering the Film Festival this year was a different experience for me. Definitely a different feel from last year. Lots of fun though and I met lots of people who were willing to pose for my Holga. I posted a sample of some of the pics I grabbed at different events. I will be posting some portraits I took too.

Cat and Her Second Head

Cat was walking by with her head model and I had to stop her. She is a hair styling student in Toronto and had time to pose for some shots. The tourists loved our photo shoot. It's not real hair on the model. Yak hair I think she said.

Can you love a lens?

I think I'm falling in love with this lens. The canon 35mm f1.4L. I've shot with it a couple of times and the more I look at the pictures the more I love it. These pictures might not do it justice but they are the first few I shot with it so they have a special place in my heart. By the way I love my actual baby more. Really.

Random Encounter

Walking along Queen St East and ran into Jen. She was kind of enough to pose for a few shots. She runs a cool website called www.shedoesthecity.com covering arts, fashion and events.

Food from a Box

Home alone for a few days. You can tell from the self portrait and the KD. It was the white cheddar. Not a fan.
